Prior Architecture is a design focused practice delivering architectural services across Kent and the South East. Founded by Joseph Prior after more than a decade working within established UK architectural practices, the studio brings experience across private residential, developer led housing, retail and education, taking projects from early concept through to construction on site, with a clear focus on thoughtful design, buildability and long term value. The practice was established to allow a more considered and reflective way of working, where time is taken to understand people, place and purpose. Experience across a wide range of projects has shaped an adaptable approach, grounded in careful judgement and a clear understanding of the practical realities that influence how buildings are designed, approved and built. We approach architecture, interiors and landscape as a single, holistic design process.
